The Drop captures the instant a breaking wave begins its descent, viewed from above where energy, texture, and movement converge. White water fractures into intricate patterns while two surfers appear almost suspended within the scale of the sea. The composition explores the shifting geometry created by the meeting of swell and foam, a fleeting arrangement that exists for only a moment before dissolving into the next.
